DMB in DSM
1. The band played the pop-favorites, but only the older stuff.
2. I had General Admission tickets, but I got pretty close (about 30 rows back on the right) and I didn't expect Principal Park to be such a good venue for a show.
3. I think that since Leroi passed, the new band is still getting used to playing together and may be uncomfortable playing the old Jam hits that featured Leroi.
4. I think that if we'd been at a bigger and more famous venue, like Alpine Valley, I'd have gotten to hear #41 or some lesser played live stuff.
5. Then they played the songs from the new album first, which isn't surprising, as they want everybody to get psyched for the new stuff.
6. I'm really glad that Tim Reynolds is the featured electric guitar player for the current tour.
7. It'd be great if he was inducted as part of the band, now that the line-up is changing anyways.
8. I still thought the show was fantastic, even though I do wish that Dave would have done a WHOLE lot more Jibber Jabber talking and his crazy dancing.
9. I've seen him 3 times before, and this show definitely lacked the normal Dave craziness.
